Product Update (November 2025)
Introducing the Downtime Reasons Trend widget. For the first time, you can visualise how your downtimes are changing over time and see whether your continuous improvement plans are actually working.
This is a game-changer for everyone running productivity improvement projects. Whether you're a production manager tracking factory-wide initiatives, an operator monitoring your cell's performance, or part of a continuous improvement team, you can now measure your progress with clarity.

Visualise downtime trends over time to spot patterns and measure improvement efforts
New features:
Track downtime trends over time
The challenge with continuous improvement is knowing whether you're making real progress. You might implement changes, but without data showing the trend over time, it's impossible to know if those changes are having the desired impact.
The Downtime Reasons Trend widget solves this. You can now visualise your downtime data in clear bar charts that show trends week by week or day by day. Watch your targeted downtimes decrease as your improvement projects take effect, or spot unexpected increases that need immediate attention.
Perfect for:
- Measuring the impact of process changes or training initiatives
- Identifying seasonal patterns in downtime
- Spotting recurring issues before they become major problems
- Demonstrating ROI on continuous improvement projects to stakeholders
Compare data in two powerful ways
Understanding your downtime isn't just about tracking one metric. You need to see the data from different angles to make informed decisions.

Compare by downtime reason: Focus on specific problems you're working to eliminate. Select the downtime reasons you're targeting (like "Operator Unavailable" or "Changeovers") and monitor how they change over time. This is perfect for continuous improvement projects where you're tackling specific issues.
Compare by asset: See how different machines or cells perform over time. Quickly identify which assets are improving and which need more attention. Compare performance across your shopfloor to understand where to focus your improvement efforts.
Spot unlabelled downtime patterns
Accurate data is the foundation of effective continuous improvement. The widget helps you identify gaps in your downtime labelling by showing unlabelled downtime trends.
If you see consistent patterns of unlabelled downtime, it's a signal that you need to improve your labelling practices. Once you have better labelling, your trend analysis becomes even more powerful and actionable.

Get more accurate data with Auto-Labelling
The quality of your trend analysis depends on the accuracy of your downtime labelling. If you're using the Tablet Downtime Auto-Labeller, you'll automatically capture more detailed and consistent downtime reasons, giving you reliable data for tracking your continuous improvement efforts.
Perfect for Productivity Accelerator users
This widget is particularly valuable if you're part of our Productivity Accelerator programme. It tracks your improvement projects in real-time, showing exactly how your efforts are performing week by week.
