Sep-24 Updates: Start New Downtime after only 1 minute

A small upgrade to our Start New Downtime feature to give greater control and accuracy over short stoppages.

Introduction

We've upgraded our "Start New Downtime" feature to allow splitting of a downtime after only 1 minute.

As a reminder, our "Start New Downtime" functionality allows one machine downtime to be split up into multiple different reasons. For example, if the machine has a 50 minute downtime, you can split it into 10 minutes of "Housekeeping", followed by 40 minutes of "Setup".

What has changed?

With this update, you now have greater control and accuracy over downtime splitting.

  • Any downtime can be split if it has lasted for 1 minute or longer (previously it was 5 minutes)
  • You can choose the timing of a "downtime split" to the nearest minute (previously it was to the nearest 5 minutes)

Where to find it

The "Start New Downtime" button can be found under the "Actions" page of the operator tablet.

This button will be disabled when the machine is in uptime, or when it is within the first minute of a downtime. After the downtime has lasted for 1 minute or more, the "Start New Downtime" button becomes enabled.
