How To Display FourJaw On A Large Screen Or TV

This guide explains how to set up a dedicated PC and display so you can show FourJaw dashboards on a large screen or TV on your shop floor. Once completed, your team will be able to monitor production performance and machine data in real time.

Tip: Displaying your production data on the shop floor screens, provides real time visilbility of what's happening to the people who need to know. Improving response to issues and keeping everyone on the same page. 

What You’ll Need

Before starting, ensure you have:

  • Windows Mini PC* 
  • A mouse and keyboard with USB connections
  • A TV or large display screen with an HDMI input
  • A network connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet)
  • Your FourJaw login details

Step 1: Unpack and Connect the Hardware

  1. Unpackage the display kit.
  2. Connect the PC to a power source.
  3. Connect the PC to the TV or display using the HDMI cable.
  4. Plug the mouse into a USB port on the PC.
  5. Plug in the keyboard using a USB port.
  6. Turn on the display and PC.

Step 2: Complete the Windows Device Setup

When the PC powers on for the first time, Windows setup will begin.

Initial Setup

  1. Select your preferred Language.
  2. Select your Region.
  3. Choose your Keyboard Layout.
  4. Select Skip when asked to add a second keyboard layout.

Connect to the Network

  1. Connect the device to your Wi-Fi or network connection.
  2. Accept the Microsoft licence agreement.

Account Setup

  1. Select Set up for personal use.
  2. Choose Offline account.
  3. Select Limited experience.

Configure the Device

  1. Enter a name for the PC.
  2. Optionally create a password.
  3. Select Not now when prompted to import browser history.

Privacy Settings

For each of the following options, select the responses below:

  • Location access → No
  • Find my device → No
  • Diagnostic data → Send only required diagnostic data
  • Improve inking & typing → No
  • Tailored experiences → No
  • Advertising ID → No
  • Customise experience → Skip
  • Cortana → Not now

Once complete, Windows will finish the setup process and load the desktop.

Step 3: Configure Display Power Settings

To keep FourJaw visible continuously on the shop floor, you should disable screen sleep and timeout settings.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to System.
  3. Select Power & Sleep.
  4. Set Screen timeout to Never.
  5. Set Device sleep timeout to Never.

This prevents the display from turning off automatically.

Step 4: Open FourJaw in the Browser

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Select No when asked to sync data.
  3. Select No when prompted to sync Google data.
  4. In the address bar, search for or enter: fourjaw.app
  5. Log in using your FourJaw account details.
  6. When prompted, select Save Password if desired.
  7. Open the dashboard you want to display.
  8. Optionally enable Full Screen Mode for a cleaner display view.

Step 5: Add FourJaw to the Desktop

To make it easier to launch FourJaw in future:

  1. Click the lock icon next to the website URL in the browser.
  2. Drag the icon onto the desktop.

This creates a shortcut directly to the FourJaw dashboard.

Recommended Setup Tips

For the best shop floor experience, we recommend:

  • Mounting the display in a clearly visible location
  • Using full-screen mode to maximise visibility
  • Ensuring the PC has a stable network connection
  • Leaving the PC powered on continuously during production hours

Troubleshooting

The display goes black after a period of inactivity

Check that both screen timeout and sleep settings are set to Never.

FourJaw does not load

Verify the PC is connected to the internet and that the correct URL (fourjaw.app) is being used.

Dashboard is not updating

Refresh the browser page or check the network connection.

Login issues

Confirm your FourJaw username and password are correct, or contact FourJaw support for assistance.
